Melvyn Zeff has been a professional toastmaster for 23 years. His first function was in 1983 and since then Melvyn has officiated at more than 2,000 functions. As well as working all over the UK, he has been overseas many times in his capacity as toastmaster. He was elected as Member of the Toastmaster and Master of Ceremonies in 1985, he bacame the organisation's Chairman in 1992 and was elected to the Office of President in 1993.In January 1998 an even higher honour was bestowed on Melvyn when he was made a Freeman of the City of London. The presence of a Toastmaster means that the Host and Hostess together with the Bride and Groom are relieved of any concerns about "who does what" and "what happens next". They can relax and enjoy themselves with their guests, in the knowledge that everything will run smoothly in the capable hands of a professional Toastmaster who has officiated at hundreds of similar functions.
